Ayes has over 15 years director and GM experience in the B2B technology sector, where he successfully created and led many strategies to grow profitable business revenues in intensely competitive and fast moving markets, in the UK and internationally. His experience covers predominantly; high tech, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, managed services, software as a service and ICT sectors. But has also delivered step changes in business results in the; clean tech, retail and public sector arenas.

Ayes professional highlights include: Successfully leading 12-month business turnarounds for 2 SMEs, one in the software arena and the other managed services. Streamlined the service operations of an ICT service provider, resulting in them being voted service provider of the year by the market and increasing their market share Re-focused the sales and marketing activities for an international communications infrastructure businesses which increased the market share of by 10% within 12 months. Restructured two business divisions to achieve double digit profitable growth for the first time in 4 years.

Developed an integrated lead generation campaign which resulted in an ICT business delivering £11m of new sales in 8 months. Identified and developed new products for a communications technology business to successfully grow market penetration. Re-focused activity in a technology business to turnaround 'like for like' sales from -6% to + 14% growth year on year. Developed and supported strategy, which enabled a UK based technology company to successfully break into new international markets to meet their sales expansion goals.

Ayes has held several VP, Director and General Manger positions for large corporates such as; BT, Lucent Technologies, L&Q and B&Q before setting up in his own interim management business in 2006. Since then, he has held several Interim Director roles on long term assignments to successfully lead business turnarounds in the UK and internationally for large and small SMEs. He has also held non-executive director posts.
